Itinerary
Day 1
- Meet and greet on the arrival at Guwahati (Boarding Point)
- Step aboard your Luxury Bharat Caravan and head towards Kaziranga, which spans an impressive 430 square kilometers and is home to the largest population of One-horned rhinoceroses in the world, along with a variety of other wildlife, including tigers, elephants, panthers, bears, and thousands of bird species.
- In 1985, UNESCO designated it as a World Heritage Site due to its remarkable natural environment.
- Upon arriving at Kaziranga National Park, park your caravan and take part in various activities, including enjoying lunch or high tea with stunning views of Kaziranga, cycling, sightseeing, and gathering around a bonfire in the evening.
- Overnight stay in luxurious Caravan parked at our beautiful Campsite. You may also have a bonfire with stunning mountain views of Kaziranga.
Day 2
- On Day 2, Begin your day with an early rise and prepare to embark on the Kaziranga Elephant Safari in the western range, where you can witness the renowned One-Horned Rhino up close in its natural habitat.
- Following the elephant safari, return to the Resort for lunch before heading to the Kaziranga Central Range for a thrilling Jeep Safari experience. This central zone of the Kaziranga National Park is considered the primary ecotourism zone within the forest.
- The entry gate to this zone is conveniently located approximately two kilometers from the National Highway, passing through the village of Kohora.
- During the Kaziranga Jungle Safari, you may encounter impressive views of Rhinos grazing or bathing in the expansive grasslands, observe herds of elephants ranging from cute baby elephants to majestic elder elephants, and explore the diverse wildlife and flora present in this designated tourism area.
- Return to the Campsite by the evening and enjoy local sumptuous Assamese food.
Day 3
- On Day 3, after having breakfast, visit Kaziranga Orchid and Biodiversity Park - one of the perfect places in area to know local culture and cuisine. The peaceful aura, tranquil surroundings and teaching about local fauna brings you an opportunity to take a deep dive.
- Orchid Biodiversity Park is a must visit place. This park came into existence in the year of 2015 and is an abode of largest collections of orchids in all across India.
- There are approx 600 species of orchids in the park’s greenhouse. These wonderful and eye soothing flowers come from all over north east India and includes the state flowers of Assam and Sikkim. You may also see some rare verities of orchid inside the green house.
- In 2nd half, visit Assam National Museum to get the real sense of local life. You can learn and take information about the 97 tribes of Assam and may you encounter with the local tribes people crafting and making traditional clothing and looms.
- The national museum remains opens for tourists 06 days from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM during summer and from 10:00 AM to 04:30 PM during winter except on Monday. Second and fourth Saturday holiday is observed.
- The exhibits of the Museum are displayed in sections, viz., Epigraphy, Sculptures, Miscellaneous, Natural History, art and Crafts, Anthropology & Folk Art & Arms section.
- Come back to the campsite by the evening.
Day 4
- On Day 4, after breakfast, visit Hathikuli Tea Estate and enjoy serene beauty of Assam Tea Garden.
- Hathikuli Tea Estate offers visitors the chance to explore organic tea farming, witness the tea-making process, and enjoy freshly brewed tea.
- You can also take in the scenic beauty of the rolling tea gardens and vibrant flora and fauna, making it a serene retreat.
- The estate also provides opportunities for nature walks and proximity to Kaziranga National Park for a combined tea and wildlife experience.
- From Hathikuli, start your journey back to Guwahati and ensure you arrive in Guwahati before check-out time.
