Itinerary
Day 1
- Meet and greet on arrival at Guwahati (Boarding Point).
- Onboard to your luxury Caravan and proceed towards Nameri National Park - situated in the northern part of the Sonitpur district of Assam, along the foothills of Arunachal Pradesh. The habitat is biologically rich and is famous for the white winged wood duck. The Nameri Tiger Reserve is one of the important conservation areas on the North bank landscape of the River Brahmaputra.
- Enroute to Nameri, halt for lunch at famous Anuraag Dhaba on NH-37 near Nagaon and enjoy authentic Assamese cuisines.
- You may also visit and pray at Mahamrityunjay Temple - famous for its colossal Shivalinga, which is considered the largest in the world.
- Overnight stay in Caravans at our Jungle Resort Campsite, one of the most beautiful and offbeat campsite at Nameri.
- Enjoy authentic Assamese cuisines with Bonfire at the Jungle Campsite in the evening.
Day 2
- Wake up to the cheerful whistle of birds echoing through the jungle, surrounded by the untouched beauty of nature. Savor an authentic Assamese breakfast at our serene jungle campsite—an experience as refreshing as the morning itself.
- After a hearty breakfast, set off on a scenic journey to Dirang, passing through Bhalukpong. Enjoy breathtaking vistas of majestic mountains and the shimmering Kameng River along the way—a route that’s as mesmerizing as the destination itself.
- Don't forget to get the ILP (An Inner Line Permit) at the Arunachal Border.
- Relish a delightful dinner featuring authentic Monpa cuisine, served with stunning views of the valley that will take your breath away.
- Overnights stay in Caravan at our riverside campsites in Dirang.
Day 3
- Embark on a captivating voyage from Dirang Tawang, where every mile unfolds breathtaking vistas and charming stops that whisper stories of nature’s artistry.
- The first famous tourist destination enroute to Tawang is Sela Pass. Cross Sella Tunnel to reach Sela Pass. Sela Tunnel is highest bi-lane tunnel in the world at 3,000 metres (9,800 ft) which ensures all-weather connectivity between Guwahati in Assam and Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh.
- Reach Sela Pass after crossing Sela Tunnel. Sela Pass is a high-altitude mountain pass in Arunachal Pradesh, India, at an elevation of approximately 13,700 feet (4,200 meters). It's a crucial link between the Tawang and West Kameng districts, serving as a vital route for connecting Tawang to the rest of India. The pass is known for its scenic beauty, including snow-capped mountains, glacial lakes, and picturesque valleys.
- After Sela pass, visit Jaswantgarh War Memorial - a tribute to Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat, a soldier who fought bravely during the 1962 Sino-Indian War. He was a member of the 4th Garhwal Rifles and held off the Chinese advance for 72 hours with the help of two local girls before being martyred.
- After Jaswant Garh, next stop is nuranang falls also known as Jung Falls or Bong Bong Falls, is a majestic waterfall in Tawang, renowned for its breathtaking beauty. The falls are a prominent feature of the area, located about 2 km northeast of the Jang town, and descend from a height of 100 meters.

Day 4
- Start your day early, take a local 4x4 Cab toi visit Pankang Teng Tso Lake, also known as PT Tso, is a high-altitude lake in the Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh, India. It's situated at an elevation of 4,640 meters (15,223 feet) and is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and lush forests. The lake is known for its tranquil setting and picturesque views, making it a popular tourist destination.
- In the sam 4x4 Cab, visit Madhuri Lake - also known as Sangetsar Lake, this picturesque lake is known for its serene beauty and unique history, with ghostly tree trunks emerging from the water. Some scene of movie Koyla of Actress Madhuri Dixit was shot here, thus the lake became popular as Madhuri lake.
- After Madhuri lake, visit Bum La Pass - A high-altitude mountain pass near the Indo-China border, offering panoramic views and a glimpse into the region's strategic importance. Situated at 15,000 feet (4,572 meters) above sea level, it's a strategic location near the Line of Actual Control (LAC) and a significant site in the history of Sino-Indian relations
- Comeback to the Campsite by the evening and enjoy local Monpa food specially Thukpa & Dumpling.
- Night Stay in Caravan at Tawang Campsite.
Day 5
- Have your sumptuous breakfast at the Campsite and get ready to visit Zemithang ( in local 4x4 Cab).
- Zemithang is a tiny Monpa village perched, is a great place for snow covered beautiful landscapes. Since hardly any tourists head this far, the place is practically untouched. A perfect place to experience the raw tribal way of life. Explore some of the significant to-visit places around such as, the Gorsam Chorten which is believed to have been constructed in the early parts of the 12th century.
- Back to Tawang in 2nd half and after lunch, go fo the sightseeing of Tawang and visit Tawang Monastery - a magnificent example of Mahayana Buddhism and is the largest monastery in India.
- Also visit Tawang War Memorial - This memorial pays homage to the Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the 1962 Sino-Indian War.
- Do shopping at Tawang Local market famous for Handwoven Carpets, Thangkas, Handicrafts, Traditional Jewelry, Tibetan Artefacts, Organic Tea, Traditional Attire, Local Handicrafts, Spices and Herbs, Local Wines, Handwoven Shawls and Stoles and many more.
- Night stay in the Caravan at the Tawang Campsite.
Day 6
- On Day 5, after breakfast, start your journey from Tawang to Sangti Valley - The valley is known for its serene beauty, with lush green landscapes, rolling meadows, and picturesque rivers.
- You may visit, Monpa villages, where you can interact with the Monpa community and learn about their rich cultural heritage, warm hospitality, and distinct traditions.
- Sangti Valley is a great spot for nature lovers, trekkers, and bird watchers, offering opportunities for hiking, bird watching, and exploring the tranquil surroundings.
- Overnight stay at our caravan or our campsite.
Day 7
- On Day 7, start your journey to Shergaon - famous for its natural beauty, including scenic apple orchards, and vibrant Monpa tribal culture. It's also recognized as a Best Tourism Village of India. Additionally, the village is known for its Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary, a birdwatcher's paradise.
- The journey from Tawang to Shangti Valley offers a mix of scenic beauty and opportunities for relaxation and exploration.
- Upon reaching the Shergaon campsite, try out the local Village walk and have your dinner by the picturesque riverside location.
- Night stay in the Caravan at our beautiful campsite.
Day 8
- Begin your day with a scenic view and the soothing sound of flowing river water.
- Have your breakfast at the campsite and start your journey to Orang National Park - known for its population of the Indian One Horned Rhinoceros and the Royal Bengal Tiger.
- As you journey toward Orang National Park, immerse yourself in breathtaking vistas of the majestic Himalayan mountains and lush, serene valleys—an unforgettable feast for the senses.
- Reach our Jungle campsite at Orang National Park by the evening and enjoy the sunset.
Day 9
- Start your day early and enjoy exquisite breakfast at the jungle campsite.
- Explore various campsite activities at our Jungle campsite including Swimming, horse riding, boating, sky cycling, and ziplining.
- After lunch, begin your return journey to Guwahati, heart full of cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Reach Guwahati before check-out time.
